The purpose of the club is to establish contacts between collectors, to create new possibilities of exchange, and to achieve a better survey of the stamps available, in order to create new and better ways of cataloguing the stamps and hereby be able to replace the more than 30 years old catalogue of Danish railway stamps. |

The members collects mainly covers which in one way or the other tells a story. Like the route of shipment, postal fair, or the use of the cancellation which can be documented by a cover or letter. |

The club has sailing ships and maritime subjects as an issue. Members comes from Scandinavia or a country related to these country's. Most members comes from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. |
